Elvira Bill studied singing with Christoph Prégardien at the Academy of Musik Cologne. She graduated in summer 2010 with honor. Her career was accompanied and inspired by Reinhard Becker, Thomas Heyer, Ingeborg Danz and Michael Gees.

Her repertoire ranges from old masters to contemporary music. Elvira Bill is a sought-after artist on numerous prestigious concert halls and festivals, for example Berlin and Cologne Philharmonic, Elbe Philharmonic Concert Hall Hamburg, Tchaikovsky Concert Hall Moscow, Rheingau Music Festival, International Bach Festival Leipzig, La Folle Journée Nantes, Teatro Real Madrid, Lucerne Festival.

As a soloist she sang under the direction of well-known conductors such as Peter Neumann, Marcus Creed, Philippe Herreweghe, Sylvain Cambreling, Helmuth Rilling, Christopher Hogwood, Florian Helgath, Paul Goodwin. Elvira Bill works together regulary with the Thomanerchor Leipzig and the Swiss Bach Foundation St. Gallen under the direction of Rudolf Lutz.

Concert tours led her to many German and European cities as well as to Russia, China and Oman.
