The Goldberg Vocal Ensemble is a chamber vocal group that is part of the Goldberg Baroque Ensemble, founded on the initiative of Andrzej Mikołaj Szadejko. The composition of the ensemble is rotational. It includes young singers who gain experience in performing early music using ancient vocal techniques. Many former members continue their singing careers in professional ensembles or solo. The ensemble collaborates on album recordings from the series “Musical Heritage of the City of Gdańsk” and “Musica Baltica”, projects carried out in cooperation with the Gdańsk Library of the Polish Academy of Sciences. GVE also performs a cappella, presenting early Gdańsk music, as well as compositions by contemporary creators.
